Maintenance advice

Roses are deciduous and winter-hardy (up to at least -25 degrees Celsius) shrubs. Since these standard roses have been grafted, the stem height will no longer change. The crown, on the other hand, will become fuller and larger. After winter it is important to prune the crown properly. Completely cut away all dead and damaged branches, and prune the other branches back to about 10-15 cm. It is also important to give the standard roses a sunny spot in nutritious soil. Therefore, use rose soil when planting and fertilize regularly with rose fertilizer.
