Magnolia Susan set of 3 in pink

The Magnolia Susan is a shrub with a less spreading growth habit than most magnolias, but rather upright. The main attraction is that the bloom appears before the foliage. From April to May, the dark purple flower buds give way to abundant lightly scented flowers with a purple-pink, lighter interior.
