Harvest

Pick the berries on time: a berry picked too early is not tasty, a berry picked too late has a shorter shelf life. Blueberries can be stored in the refrigerator for a week. A well-ripe blueberry is completely blue.

Maintenance pruning

Pruning is essential for the growth of a blueberry plant. You prune away damaged, old or diseased wood. Try to leave at least between 4 and 8 branches. However, be careful not to prune too many branches at once; then you will have no harvest the following year.
