With these beautiful grafted grape plants you can create a Mediterranean atmosphere in your own garden! Moreover, with the right care, you can enjoy your first grapes after a year and a half. The OH2 sets consist of 4 grafted grape plants and are supplied in a colorful marketing tube with sufficient explanation about these products.
The Vitis Vinifera, also called grape plant in Latin, is a real climbing plant. This is ideal for your balcony or garden. Our grapes can be planted in pots or in the open ground. It is advisable to give them a place with sufficient sun hours. Advice to support this plant, for example against a fence, wall, pergola or fence. Our grape plants are winter hardy to minus 15 degrees Celsius. Around September/October you can harvest and enjoy your home-grown fruit.
The plants will lose leaves in the winter, but they will of course grow them back in the spring. Make sure that the plants receive sufficient water in the summer.
The trees are self-pollinating. They can withstand the winters, but it is still advisable to protect the trees against extreme frost during the first winter. For protection, use a fleece cloth, old clothes rag, towel or plastic. When delivered with a root ball, the trees are approximately between 55-70cm. When you plant them they get bigger.
