Tropical indoor plants

Brighten up your living or working environment with greenery! Because these trendy houseplants transform the space into a small green jungle. They suit any interior and will therefore not look out of place. They are easy to care for because they need a little water every now and then. They are plants that grow slowly. Upon delivery (depending on the type) the height varies from 25 - 50 cm. This way you can enjoy your trendy plants for an extra long time.

Bananaplant - Musa oriental dwarf

Bring the tropics into your home with your own banana tree! This indoor banana plant, also called the Musa orantial dwarf, originates from South-East Asia and Australia. It is a tropical houseplant with beautiful large leaves.

Chamadorea Elegans

The Chamaedorea elegans, also known as the Mexican dwarf palm, originates from the rainforest in the south of Mexico and Guatemala. It is a species that remains small, which is why it owes its name 'dwarf palm'. With a maximum average growth of 50 cm, it is the ideal indoor palm. It has been a popular indoor palm for years because it is easy to maintain.

Dracaena Compacta

The Dracaena is a very easy housemate, because it can survive without water for quite some time. With roots in Africa, Central America and South Asia, this sturdy houseplant can take a beating. The dragon tree has no fewer than 120 species and owes its name to the blood-red resin that some Dracaena produce.
Are you looking for a tropical touch in your interior? Then the dragon tree should definitely not be missing. The Dracaena deremensis Compacta stands proud on its trunk and has relatively short, dark green leaves: a sturdy addition to your 'urban jungle’.

Coffea Arabica

The Coffea Arabica, also known as the coffee plant or coffee tree, originally comes from Ethiopia and is still relatively unknown in the Netherlands. It can be placed on the windowsill or in another nice bright place in plain sight, because it certainly deserves to be seen. If you occasionally spray the plant with a plant sprayer, it will grow beautiful shiny leaves in return. And this way it remains dust-free, allowing it to absorb better light for good growth. In the spring the coffee plant produces beautiful white, sweet-smelling flowers. Next come the berries, which turn from green to yellow to red when ripe. The seeds press more and more against each other as they grow, giving them a characteristic shape.
